    The M Group Architects, Reston, V.A.

    Nour is an enthusiastic professional with diverse experience spanning complex project design, professional association leadership, and initiatives that support the architecture profession. She has contributed to a wide range of projects while actively engaging in efforts that advance collaboration, mentorship, and knowledge-sharing within the field. Passionate about fostering inclusive and innovative environments, Nour combines her design expertise with a commitment to supporting colleagues, advocating for the profession, and promoting professional growth. She brings a broad perspective and collaborative spirit to every project and initiative, aiming to create meaningful impact both in the built environment and the architecture community.

    Jordan is an architect with 7 years of experience in higher ed design. His most recent work includes the adaptive reuse of large scale buildings for university programs in urban areas. Jordan worked odd jobs in construction through college and recently finished the design and construction of his own home, and now uses these experiences to inform his design decisions. His experience in contract administration gives him insights into how designs are actually executed, which helps his team accurately document work and seamlessly coordinate with contractors.

    Megan Davey is originally from New Jersey and currently works as an architect at AECOM, focused on government projects. She also has experience working on restaurants, apartment buildings, and churches. She earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Architecture from The Catholic University of America. Her academic experience shaped her technical skills and appreciation for thoughtful, people-centered design. She is also an author and collaborator of the walking architecture tour book, Washington on Foot, which she considers a true honor.

    Outside of work, Megan enjoys staying active and creative. She spends her time hiking local trails, going for a run, and visiting the beach whenever possible. She also enjoys hands-on projects such as flipping furniture and giving old pieces new life, as well as crocheting cozy blankets in her downtime. These interests allow her to balance creativity with craftsmanship and bring a thoughtful perspective to her work and life.

    Evan Dziedzic, AIA, NCARB, is a licensed architect in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia with a dual master’s degree in Architecture and Net-Zero Design. He brings a strong background in sustainable, high-performance design across academic, civic, and commercial projects, with experience spanning ground-up construction, renovations, and interior architecture. Evan currently serves as a Project Architect at MDLE Architects + Planners, where he works on complex projects internationally, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver contextually responsive and environmentally responsible design solutions. In addition to professional practice, he is an adjunct professor at The Catholic University of America, where he teaches courses focused on LEED, net-zero technologies, and sustainable interiors. Evan’s work reflects a commitment to research-driven design, environmental stewardship, and mentorship, with a professional focus on creating resilient, healthy, and future-forward built environments.

    Quinn Evans, Washington, D.C.

    Kelly M Haley, AIA is an architect that is passionate about telling compelling stories by saving historic buildings and giving them renewed purpose. Her work and industry expertise focus on existing building documentation, preservation, and implementing advanced design technology to better understand the complexities of historic structures.

  • Teass \ Warren Architects, Washington, D.C.

    Theodor Harasim holds an Undergraduate and Master’s in Architecture from the NAAB-certified Polytechnic University of Madrid, Spain. His undergraduate thesis is entitled The Historical Evolution of Ocularcentrism in Architecture; an analysis of the hierarchization of the human senses in the perception of space. His final diploma project – Research & Formation Center in The Albufera Natural Park in Valencia – focused on the relationship between the built environment and the natural landscape. Upon graduating, Theodor became a registered architect in Spain and Romania.

    After graduating, he joined Romania Green Building Council where he worked with architects, investors/developers and other stakeholders to reshape the building industry through green design, adaptive reuse, among other actions.

    In 2019, he joined Plainspace DPC in NYC, where he focused on high-end residential projects, new construction and renovations alike. In 2025 he moved he joined Teass \ Warren Architects, continuing his residential design journey at a larger scale.

    A Technical Designer at Gensler, Tim has experience in numerous project types including residential mixed-use, office headquarters, educational institutions, culture & museums, and sports & entertainment. He has held multiple roles ranging from design lead in early design phases to drafting technical construction details during construction documentation. Prior to joining the Gensler team, Tim worked with Michael Marshall Design and Pelli Clarke & Partners, where he collaborated closely with design principals and architects on projects ranging from educational institutions to Class A office towers. A graduate of The Yale School of Architecture, Tim holds a Master of Architecture from Yale University and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Catholic University of America. He understands the importance and impact of diversity in his profession and strives to create community impact.

    Peter is a designer exploring the intersection of sustainability, technology, and the future of the built environment. With training and practice across China and the U.S., he brings a global perspective shaped by dedication, imagination, and adaptive thinking.

    Peter consistently seeks creative solutions to professional and personal challenges and am a self-taught interactive visual artist. His passion lies in exploring how technological advancements—parametric design, AI platforms, and advanced visualization—can unlock new dimensions of architectural intelligence, giving architecture its unique personality and amplifying its influence on society.

    HKS, Washington, D.C.

    Ethan Hopkins is an Associate and Medical Planner at HKS in Washington, DC. Originally from Gainesville, Georgia, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Art Marketing from North Georgia College & State University and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ghana, teaching high school graphic design and visual arts. After returning to the U.S., Ethan completed a Master of Architecture degree with a concentration in Architecture + Health at Clemson University. He spent seven years in HKS’s Atlanta studio, contributing to projects for Emory Musculoskeletal Institute, UAB Medical West Hospital, UF Health Jacksonville, Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, and Cleveland Clinic Florida.

    Passionate about creating environments that support patients, staff, and care partners, Ethan specializes in health facility and campus master planning, with expertise in emergency departments, imaging, and surgical suites. His focus is translating complex operational needs into both efficient and compassionate spaces that elevate environments for care.

    Alexandra is a Mechanical Engineer I at SmithGroup, where she supports the design and implementation of HVAC systems for building performance, occupant comfort, and regulatory compliance. With approximately 1.5 years of industry experience, she brings a strong foundation in engineering principles, problem-solving, and HVAC fundamentals. Alexandra is passionate about learning, collaboration, and building the technical and leadership skills needed to improve how building systems perform in real-world settings. She is motivated by opportunities to grow as a leader, contribute to large scale projects, and make a meaningful difference through innovation and teamwork.

    Andrea Nichols is an emerging architect with experience in a range of practice areas including civic, residential, and mixed-use development projects. She is passionate about sustainable design strategies, advanced digital workflows, and technical coordination in her project work, always striving to work collaboratively for the best results. After graduating from the University of Maryland with a Master of Architecture and Real Estate Development, she has followed her curiosity and passion in her professional roles, and achieved professional licensure in Architecture. She brings a unique blend of technical and big picture knowledge to her project teams. Born and raised in Howard County, Maryland, she now calls Washington DC home.

    Vidusha is an Architect at WDG, working on multifamily housing, student living, and adaptive reuse projects. Originally from India, she earned her Master of Architecture at Virginia Tech, a path that brought her to Washington, DC to further pursue her career. She enjoys creating meaningfully designed living spaces that foster community while responsibly engaging with the environment.

    Committed to continual learning and mentorship, Vidusha developed and now leads WDG’s Summer Internship Program, offering students hands-on exposure to all facets of architectural practice, from concept design to firm operations. In this role, she actively mentors WDG’s summer interns, guiding them as they prepare to transition from architecture school into professional practice. In her free time, Vidusha enjoys reading and exploring DC’s natural spaces and museums.

    Collin Stack is an Architectural and Landscape Designer with experience delivering projects across sports, commercial, residential, and government sectors. Currently a Technical Designer at Gensler in Washington, DC, he specializes in sports design, contributing to projects from early concept through construction administration. Collin’s work is driven by a passion for creating community‑centered design solutions supported by thoughtful collaboration and clear communication.

    He is holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin and expanded his global design perspective through a semester at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Paris‑Belleville. His professional background includes roles in landscape design, technical project delivery, and client engagement, as well as leadership experiences coordinating Gensler’s summer intern program and teaching 3D-printing classes at Project Create in Southeast DC. Collin is an Associate AIA member, LEED Green Associate, and Fitwel Ambassador.

    Elyse is an Architect guided by empathy in design, curiosity about the communities we serve, and respect for the craft that shapes our mark on the earth. She believes buildings should be quiet, thoughtful backdrops that spark joy and enhance how we live and connect, but never are the main attraction.

    Elyse is drawn to educational, civic, and residential projects that foster connection between people and their environment. Beyond design work, she volunteers with Architecture in the Schools, mentors through NOMAS, and helps connect students to her firm’s internship program, where she crafts the DC office’s summer programming. Elyse is passionate about supporting underrepresented students so they can see architecture as a path for themselves.

    Beyond the studio, Elyse is often sketching, running, or on a plane. Closer to home, you’ll find her exploring Old Town Alexandria with her tiny dog, who reminds her to slow down and stop to smell the roses.

    At an early age, Joanna was introduced to the built environment by her parents, a real estate agent and an engineer, and continued to build a foundation for design at The Catholic University, where she graduated with a master's in architecture, with a focus in residential development, and a master's of science in sustainable design. Joanna has a desire to create unique and personalized spaces in which people interact with most. This passion led her to the world of residential; where she is most inspired by the small details of everyday life and how we as designers can positively influence the way people respond to their surroundings. Through her career she has expanded that vision to not only the built environment but the natural as well. Joanna believes that intertwining sustainable practices with innovative design produces an incredible outcome.

    Quinn Evans, Washington, D.C.

    Elena is an architect from Richmond now based in DC. Elena works in the learning practice at QE designing community focused spaces like schools and libraries. She has her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Virginia. Elena is Vice Chair of the AIA Committee for Architecture on Education. In her spare time, she likes reading and walking her dog Ruby.
